The “Non Jazz” title is dubious, as many would state that these works are very much Jazz.
They represent some of Dave’s most important work as a composer. They also include some albums that he was most proud of.
When Dave disbanded “The Classic Quartet” to concentrate on composing, he battled with Record Companies to get some of these works released.
The albums listed here are all included in the "Commercial" & "Related” sections of Recordings. They include albums that Dave has recorded on and others that are his compositions that others have released. Some albums only partly include Dave's works.
