Recordings - Compilations

There have been many compilations of Dave's music, released over the years, mainly by Columbia Records, focusing on the Classic Quartet period of the 1950's & 1960's. In more recent years since the amalgamation of Fantasy, Telarc and Concord, there has been some compilations released from their catalogue.

Listed here are some of the compilations released over six decades including some on LP.

For many the 1994, four CD box set release "Time Signatures - A Career Retrospective" remains the definitive compilation of Dave’s music. It contains a wonderful booklet with commentary of each song by Dave.
