This album is listed in this section as it contains two very rare performances, which previously only available on out of print LP's.

"Two Sleepy People" was recorded on 24th October 1957, in Los Angeles, with Paul Desmond, Joe Morello and Norman Bates. It’s only previous issue was on out of print LP's

• Playboy (USA) PB-1958 “Playboy Jazz All Stars Volume 2”.

• Columbia (J) "Playboy Jazz All Stars Volume 2”.

The “Pilgrims Progress” track was recorded at Stratford Music Festival, Stratford, Ontario, Canada, on 3rd August 1956 and included Paul Desmond, Norman Bates and Joe Dodge.

Its only previous release had been on LP releases:

Playboy (USA) PB-7473 "Playboy Music Hall Of Fame Winners”.
