Recorded on 9th September 1960, at Columbia 30th Street Studio, New York City, during the recording session for “Tonight Only" with Carmen McRae.


The remainder of the album features Robert Gold and Arthur Fizdale. “Points On Jazz” is a ballet suite which was composed by Dave for two pianos as a set of rhythmic variations on a theme. Some of the variations are based on jazz concepts, others are derived from the classics.

The track "There'll Be No Tomorrow" or indeed the album has been never been available on CD.
